About Us

Zuri Amata Eshun

Classically trained, Zuri Eshun has played roles created by playwrights ranging from Lynn

Nottage to Shakespeare. Her work has been showcased in notable British theatres

including London’s Globe Theatre, the Arcola Theatre and the Tristan Bates Theatre. The

main stage’s for her earlier work included her alma mater’s Decio Mainstage Theatre and

The Philbin Studio Theatre located in The University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo

Performing Arts Centre. She was also a reoccurring cast member in the globally

recognized Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival. Zuri continued her classical theatre training

as a graduate student at the East 15 Acting School of London, alongside her twin sister.

While attending East 15, she trained with some of Brittan’s most recognized talents

including Sonia Ritter, Robin Sneller, Stephen Unwin and most notably, Collin Sell. In her

most recent appearance in Jean-Claude Grumberg’s The Workroom she played the

intoxicating Mimi, followed by her triumphant role as The Young Wife in Arthur

Schnitzler’s La Ronde. Zuri is a trained percussionist and a seasoned writer, having

recently had her play, Don’t Drink The Water, premiere at The Pleasance Theatre in

London. She also founded the Culture Collective, a diversity inclusion program created to

showcase the works of minority playwrights, filmmakers, and theatre artists.

 

 

Zada Amata Eshun

After completing her Bachelor of Arts at Brandeis University, Zada completed a

summer residency with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, before accepting an

offer from the International MFA program at the East 15 Acting School of London.,

one of the UK’s leading drama programs. Alongside her identical twin sister, she has

trained under the direction of the distinguished Colin Sell, Sonia Ritter, Robin Sneller

and BAME director Kristine Landon-Smith. Zada has been cast in performances at the

world renowned Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, The Arcola, and the Tristan Bates as

Olivia in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, the Grandmother in Ödön von Horváth’s Don

Juan Comes Back from the War, and John in Charles Dickens The Haunted House. She

was also cast as Janae in Don’t Drink the Water which premiered at The Pleasance

Theatre in London, and was written by her twin sister. Zada’s film and television

credits include Checkmate, and independent film production, and NBC’s Necessary

Roughness. Zada is also a trained dancer, saxophonist, and cofounder of the Culture

Collective, a diversity inclusion program created to showcase the works of minority

playwrights, filmmakers, and theatre artists.
